Alexander Wang, the Great

Hello little muffins!

I wanted to share my recent interest for Alexander Wang.
This young designer (he's only 26) is actually amazing and rising in my esteem. Maybe the fact that he was trained by Marc Jacobs is helping a little. Everything MJ does is gold.

His Fall 2010 collection is absolutely out of control. It's very black, grey and white, very destructured but at the same time, easy to wear on the daily life.
Overall, the whole designs are giving me butterflies in the belly but it was like literally love at first sight when I spotted the Rocco mini duffel bag in pale grey leather.

Anyway, enjoy these few pieces and have a good night ^^

Current obsession

(Asos, The Kooples)

The big 21 celebration

(Naf Naf skirt, Old Navy t-shirt, thrifted boots, H&M necklace and ring, Asos skull ring, Asos glasses)

Hello, hello!

I had a very busy week end between my birthday party, my girl from Buffalo who came to visit and my work for finals.
So last friday, I celebrated my 21 years old at home with my best buds.
We danced our cute butts off for like 4 hours, it was so much fun.

Thanks to my awesome friends, I got an amazing The Kooples skirt (you'll see it soon, believe me) and a Hello Kitty pimp cup ahah! Im a huge Hello Kitty fan so that made my night.

I decided to wear my new skirt that my brothers got me for my birthday and that I absolutely love. A simple white t shirt was obvious to fit with the white and blue stripes of the skirt. I love the turquoise jewels, they add a vintage touch to this look. The glasses are for fun, I love them and sometimes, I just wish I had real vision's issues so I won't have to justify wearing those.

I have to study again so see you and I hope you all had a great week end !

if you don't wanna look like a jerk, read this CAREFULLY

Clogs are the trending report in fashion lately ... Im sorry, what ?!
I dont think we'll ever agree on that one.
Clogs are freaking ugly, they make you look like you have daffy duck's feet but morever, like a dumbass getting right out of the Little House of the prairie. Im sorry but Nellie Oleson was never know as a "fashion icon"
There's no way I'll ever wear this even if Im going on a farm trip (Hunter boots will be wayyyy more appropriate for this).

So thats my big NO to fashion

Anyway, I've done some serious shopping today so I can get tons of ideas and looks to post.

Coming soon... but for now I wish you a goodnight care bears!

We all live in a yellow submarine

Hello bloggers!

Im making a short post about crazy red carpet yellow dresses that had been seen on celebrities lately.
Spring is here, sun and warm weather are back so this is the time to get all your bright clothes out of your closet and put them on for a walk on the beach or a cocktail party near the pool.

My point is, yellow dresses fit better on a tan skin but some pale blondies have made a pretty good impression too. We all remember Kate Hudson wearing that stunning yellow/gold dress in "How to lose a guy in 10 days". Morever, SJP made quiet an impression with her neon dress at the SATC 2 premiere last thursday.

So I suggest everyone put their yellow sundresses on now.

PS : I got my Asos order today, I'll make a post later in the day about my new babies!

The hated/loved Palermo

"You should never judge a book by its cover" ... hmmm, I kind of have this feeling for Olivia Palermo but not in the right way.
What I mean is that as much as I hate her in "The City", I love her style.

I was so proud to hear Whitney throwing a perfect "you look like a complete bitch" to Palermo-socialist-my-ass in the last week episode.

Okay lets stop the anger, this is just a TV show. Maybe Palermo is a nice girl in real life (but she looks very natural when she gives attitudes so thats something to debate on for sure)

Her style is very variable and she's an accessories addict, always have lots of pretty awesome jewels, belts or bags. I like that she often wears dark colours with just one very bright or flashy detail like a clutch or a pair of heels.

So Olivia, this post is dedicated to your style and ONLY your style.

If you liked it then you should have put a ring on it

(Ebay, Forever21 and Asos rings)

It's funny how its been 3 years that I haven't worn rings and all of a sudden, I've been craving for some (yes, CRAVING)
Im very into gothic, silver and big rings right now.
I am currently waiting for my Asos order which will bring me two crazy ass ones. I can't wait.

I would probably not wear those for a wedding, but still, you can wear them for any other event or on your daily life.

Note to self: wear them with a flashy nail polish (like the OPI Hong Kong collection which I love ^^)

Blackfeet sioux

( Les 3 suisses faux fur, thrifted t-shirt, Mango shorts, Ugg boots, J.Crew hairband)

I dont have much inspiration today...

My look of the day looks very native american, very Pocahontas. But the Uggs are definitely going to go back in their box as the weather is getting really warm right now. I just wanted to wear them one last time before the summer.
This is probably what I would have wear if I went to Woodstock... Okay, enough with woodstock.

I hope you're having a great sunday!

I just got carried away

(My numero uno pick! I love the Dior shoes, the green colours and the Eiffel Tour bag)

(She made that Dior dress very famous)

(I had to put that one)

(Okay its all about the Manolo's for that one)

(Can't wait to see this amazing dress and amazing peacok clutch in SATC 2)

Carrie Bradshaw...

Everyone knows her name and like (or not) her crazy style. Let's all thank Patricia Field, the Sex and the City costume designer, for that.
If I had the money, I would get Patricia Field as my stylist. She is definitely indispensable to the SATC world.

I picked out here my favourite looks from the TV show and the first movie which, in my opinion, emphasize the most Carrie.

Yes, I know, I picked out a lot of them but it was so hard to choose!

Birthday girl

(New Look Blazer, Target Tank, H&M jeans, thrifted belt and shoes, Louis Vuitton bag, Marc by MJ rings, Gas watch, "you don't know jacques" OPI nail polish)

Here we are...

I'm finally hitting the big 21!
It means nothing in France, but it means a lot to me as Im going back to the US of A in September. I can finally get "shitcanned drunk" legally ahah! Okay, let's not go out of line.

Today is really sunny, pretty and quiet warm (of course I think its because of my birthday) so I put on one of my favourite outfit this year : boyfriend jeans because they're so comfy and my pink blazer which is perfect for Spring.

I hope you guys have a great day, just like mine (minus the gifts ahah)

Peacocks obsession

(House of Harlow 1960 bracelet, Topshop skirt and earrings, Winter Kate jacket, House of Harlow 1960 ring)

Well, well, well...

Yes, I admit, I love feathers. They're just so soft and light. I love it when there is a lot of them and you have that impression of fluffy touch.
Feathers remind me of the hippy times, once again. People used to wear them a lot, especially as hair accessories. It feels like a symbol of freedom.

When it comes to accessories, I think the feathers give this special thing that make the outfit.

Peacocks' ones are definitely a number one for me. The green, blue and brown colours are very beautiful and they're very easy to wear.

The House of Harlow 1960 peacock bracelet is for sure my favourite pick, no need to say why now.
